I can’t believe that’s been almost a month since my last post and thought I would talk about Christmas.
It’s that time of year again, it’s getting colder, right now it’s snowing outside my house, it’s a week before Christmas and people are running around looking for that perfect gift for their loved ones. Though many of us forget what Christmas is really about and that the perfect gift is right in front of us. Christmas is to celebrate the birth of our savor Jesus Christ and to thank him for all that he has blessed us with, so that we are able to go out and get those gifts for our friends and family. So why spend tons of money and stress running to store after store looking for the right gift, when all you need to do is to sit down and talk to God, and remember that it’s because of him that Christmas exists.
So take a moment (or two or three or how ever long you want), and thank God for all your blessings that he has blessed you with. Christmas is a time to be with the ones you love and remembering God’s love and generosity. So when you’re looking everywhere for that perfect gift, remember that the perfect gift has already been given to us all, and that we should take time out of our busy lives to give thanks to the one who gave it to us.
